Brief description of the purpose of the work.
As a Switchboard intern, you will answer incoming calls, greet callers, provide information to internal and external customers, transfer calls to relevant parties, and/or take messages as needed.
N6 (FET College)
Looking for experiential training to obtain a diploma
Must be able to communicate in Afrikaans, English and one African language.
You need to have a professional appearance and a personal demeanor.
You will work independently, but also in a team.
You must be friendly, approachable and communicate in a professional manner.
Quick and friendly response and accurate transfer of incoming calls.
Immediate communication of errors or complaints received to the ICT Help Desk and line managers.
Professional recognition of guests, clients, service providers, staff and the general public accompanied by a quick transfer to relevant BKB staff.
Responsible for keeping reception, switchboard, workstation and break areas neat, orderly and friendly.
Assist with daily office administration tasks when needed.
