National Waste Company in Benoni is currently seeking a SHEQ Officer. The SHEQ Officer assists and maintains the administration of all SHEQ records. Please refer to the minimum requirements, duties, and responsibilities below for further information.

Requirements

  • Matric
  • Mircosoft, Word, Excel, Powerpoint
  • SHEQ Administration experience
  • Honest
  • Dedicated
  • Must be able to work under pressure
  • Must have own reliable transport

Responsibilities

  • Update Organogram when new employees start
  • Scan and upload depot mini risk assessments
  • Book statutory requirements for testing, calibration or inspections based on the information provided by Compliance Officer
  • Upload of all employee induction checklists
  • Ensure all medicals are up to date, booking annual medicals, medicals for new staff, updating medical sheet and matrix
  • Generic appointment letters
  • Assist with the contractors on site when OPS SHEQ is out of the office
  • Upload planned task observations and near misses and ensure weekly meeting minutes are conducted and attendance registers uploaded
  • Assist with audit preparations
  • Assist with ad-hoc activities when required
  • Go through daily work and extracting required documents for uploading
